Meet The Pet Nannies Team!
Carol
Moore is a long-time animal lover and caregiver. She is a
Registered Veterinary Technician with the state of Ohio and has degrees
in Animal Health Technology and Medical Technology. She has worked
in several veterinary clinics in central Ohio during the past 25 years.
Carol also enjoys a variety of activities with her animals (which
include 4 dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat) including hiking, horseback riding
and dog agility. Currently she is a member and instructor for Wild
Weavers of Ohio agility club. Her Doberman pinscher, Rally, is a
Certified Delta Society
Therapy
Dog and she & Carol are volunteers at Grant Medical Center in their
Welcome Waggin program. She is also an active member of the
Doberman Pinscher Club of America and the Ohio Horseman's Council.
Carol has also been a member, a past- president, and instructor at
Columbus All-Breed Training Club as well as a founding member of the
Buckeye Region Agility Group. If that is not enough, Carol has
also been on the advisory committee at the Northwest Career Center
(Columbus Public Schools) in their Animal Management Program for high
school students.
Amy Suggars,
the owner of The Pet Nannies, has been a pet owner, trainer and advocate for many years.
She is owned by two dogs and three cats Amy is active in a variety of
dog sports and is also involved with animal rescue. All of her
cats and one of her dogs were adopted from a humane society. Amy
is an active member of Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America and and
a past officer of the Midwest Waterways Flat-Coated Club. She is
also member of Wild Weavers of Ohio and has trained at Incredipaws and
at Flash Point
Agility. In the past, Amy has been a member of the Central Ohio Kennel Club
, a certified instructor for Columbus All-Breed Training Club, on the Board of Directors of the Capital Area Humane Society and
a member of The President's Council of the American Kennel
Club's Canine Health Foundation. She trains and shows her own dogs in a variety of dog sports,
including conformation, obedience, field and agility.
